International protection is the legal status given to foreigners who are not Turkish citizens when they seek asylum in the Republic of Turkey due to reasons such as war, persecution, human rights violations that they are subjected to in the countries they are citizens of or reside in. This status allows the person to stay and be protected legally in Türkiye.
A foreigner can benefit from legal rights by applying for international protection even if his/her legal stay in Türkiye has ended. It is sufficient for the person to have justified reasons showing that he/she is in serious danger.
Temporary Work Permit
A temporary work permit allows the foreigner to work for a specific employer.
